The 10th Annual Edmond Kureczka Memorial Golf Open, will be held Friday September 6, 2013.

There will be a Scramble Format at Goodwin Golf Course 1130 Maple Ave. Hartford, Ct. 06114.
Lunch prior to start, 10:30 AM sign in, 12:00 PM Shotgun Start. Dinner will follow at the Side Walk Café Bar at 236 South St Hartford, Ct.
Dinner will be open to golfers and non golfers. Tour A is working this year for the Memorial Golf Open.
Sponsor letters and Foursome forms will be available soon.

The Boston Red Sox today traded infielder Pedro Ciriaco to the San Diego Padres in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington made the announcement.
Ciriaco, 27, was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Monday. He hit .216 (11-for-51) with two doubles, one triple, one home run, and four RBI in 28 games for Boston this season. Defensively, he played in 10 games at third base (five starts), eight at shortstop (seven starts), three at second base, and one at first base. He also appeared in five games at designated hitter, all after pinch-running.
For his major league career, the Dominican native has batted .287 (100-for-349) with three home runs and 30 RBI in 135 games between the Pittsburgh Pirates (2010-11) and Red Sox (2012-13). He was signed by the Red Sox as a minor league free agent on December 15, 2011.
